Eliot Spitzer / Prostitution Ring. A Comment Buffet
By now the news has spread like wildfire. NY Governor Eliot Spitzer was involved in a prostitution ring. His apology was vague and unsatisfying… but making up for this inadequacy are the colorful commenters (over 1,800 of them) at the New York Times.

I just heard Congressman King call Eliot (client # 9) the most self-righteous person he had ever met.
Maybe I am jaded but this type of behavior from politicians no longer shocks me. What I find inexplicable is the wife is always there by the disgraced politician’s side. I would hold my own press conference announcing my intention to file for divorce.
The ho got $ 4300 for this trist. If I was the wife I will be mad about that waste of money as well.

“Pay back is a mother….” How stupid can you be? This guy should have known better, but I guess he thought he was above the law ’cause he was a “regular customer.” I read those phone transcripts at the Smoking Gun website.

In a case of New York trying to out-scuzz New Jersey, Eliot Spitzer bombs in comparison to former NJ governor Jim McGreevey. Ole Jim’s got the title for a long time in the Tri-State Area, as far as recent Governor sex scandals are concerned that is.
While my knowledge of political scandals is minimal, I think a child sized portion of the absurdities Huey Long accomplished would trump anything these modern doofuses try to dream up. At least, I hope so.

curiously, so many men use escorts services nowadays, it seems like Eliot is a target because he targeted so many people before.
If politics and sex were not married since long ago, how come so many men have contributed to the escorts market growth we`re seeing so far? Searching Google we can find escorts resorts, I found one that advertises European models as part of the “all-inclusive deal” ( Charlisangels Resort) in the Caribbean island of Dominican Republic.
So, if this is the reality, we better start working on new rules, because we`re biting each other`s tails.
